Schwan's deal

I noticed lots of blogs about a $5 coupon code for Schwans so I decided to check it out. I ordered a pizza yesterday and it was delivered straight to my office today! $1 for a delivered to my door pizza. Nice. It was after lunch so I won't be able to have it today but will probably cook it up for my DH and I for tomorrow's lunch (we work together). I can't wait to see what it's like and I can't wait to have a $0.50 lunch (the pizza is enough for the 2 of us).

When will I learn - part 2

Yet again, I didn't pay attention - LO was throwing his toys out of the stroller while in line at Walgreens so I was just trying to make sure we got out of there with everything. The cashier missed one of my coupons. Granted it's only $0.50 but every penny counts! That's the whole point of couponing. Grrrr... not worth it to go back and how could I prove it at this point? Frustrating.

CVS possible good deals on Iams

I went to CVS yesterday to get a prescription and Pampers (glad I did since I found out I may get $5 ECB for them!). I always try to glance around when I'm walking down the aisles - keeping an eye out for blinkies! They had certificates where you can buy 3.5 - 4 lb. dog or cat food and mail in your receipt and UPC for a voucher for a free 4 lb. bag of dry food. I am excited since both my dog and cat eat Iams. Now to try to dig up a good deal on them. Maybe Walmart - they are usually cheapest. Unfortunately, I do not have any Iams coupons right now. Still a good deal, basically B1G1, be on the lookout at your CVS!

Has a giveaway for Skinfree products and for The Mommy Hook - both of which I would LOVE to try out. The LO breaks out when he is exposed to anything with a fragrance or dye for Skinfree sounds perfect for him (as well as Mommy who also has sensitive skin!). And The Mommy Hook would make life oh so much easier for me!! I am always trying to juggle the LO, the diaper bag, my purse and multiple bags. So wish me luck!

I can't believe it! FrugalRIMama is having an awesome giveaway each day this week! I am yearning for the Hoover vac but also noticed she is giving away a $100 Amazon.com gift card (with Mr. Rebate). Now I NEED this one too! HA HA... DH wants a Kindall really badly. It will help him read more efficiently w/his vision problems so I see the need. But I also see the $459 price tag for the new version (he needs the new one - bigger screen). Ouch! $100 sure would help defray the cost a lot.

Oh man, I NEED to win this one!!!!! My vacuum is a Hoover Elite given to me USED back in 1993. It's still going but barely! Although, a 16+ year old vacuum still going - I have to give it to Hoover which is why I REALLY want to win another Hoover - I know how good they are!

When will I learn?

I need to stop and check my receipts before I leave any store! Unfortunately, I am almost always in a hurry - need to get back to work or get home so I don't. I will, yet again, have to make a trip back to a store to get my $ back from being overcharged. This time it's Walgreens. They had buy a pack of Huggies ($9.99 on sale) and get a free pack of Walgreens brand diapers. I figured between the sale on Huggies, a coupon I had for Huggies, the $8.50 I had in RR and the free diapers, this wasn't a bad deal. I didn't pay attention and sure enough the Wags brand diapers did not show up free. UGH. I hate making the trips back - such a waste of time and gas! On a + note, I was finally able to snag an Organix conditioner with a MIR tag on it. Best of all, Wags had them B1G1 so I will end up with 2 free after MIR!

WalMart Weekend

I also ran by WalMart on Sunday. I go there when I need an odd assortment of things since they have just about EVERYTHING. I also like to get baby items there b/c they are SO much cheaper than everywhere else (at least near me). The big son was with me and begged for some Easy Mac. Not something I normally allow but he was being so great trying to entertain LO while we shopped. I had a B1G1 free coupon and 2 $1/2 so he got 6 Easy Macs. They will be good for after school snacks. $0.82 x 6 = $4.92 - $1 - $1 - $0.82 = $2.10 or $0.35 each. And I used my 2 Blue Bunny coupons for 2 free ice creams. I had hoped to use those last weekend when they had the MIR for Sedona or Aspen ice cream bars but I never could make it to WalMart that weekend. Still seething on missing that one - better than FREE ice cream...agh! Oh well, I was happy to score some free bars this weekend. WalMart had several single varieties for $1 each. The big son doesn't usually go with me shopping so this was a good life lesson for him and some good deals for me.

Weekend Shopping

I was able to get some shopping done this weekend. No small feat with the little one in tow. We need a new stroller for him - something more portable and light weight. Thankfully USA Baby was having a sale and I got the $25/$100 coupon for signing up on their website. I was able to get a great stroller at a good price and I have to commend the girl who helped me over there. I had loads of questions and she answered them all! Next I needed to buy a car seat since LO is not so little anymore. I found a Britax Decathalon on www.babycatalog.com for $219, normally $295 - no tax and free shipping. Not bad. But the best deal of the weekend goes to Old Navy. I used my $10/$50 coupon (I have yet to get a high $ coupon from their website) and paired it with their extra 50% off of clearance merchandise. I got the following:

4 women's shirts
1 pair of PJs for LO
1 pair of pants for LO
1 long-sleeved onesie
5 shirts for LO
zip up pullover for LO
1 pair of shorts for LO
